Bring Johnny J. Blair to Beavertown

Several of you have enjoyed the performances and entertainment provided by Johnny J. Blair for many years while he was a part of The Davy Jones Band as well as his solo endeavors and many have inquired as to whether he will be a part of the upcoming June 15 Beavertown event.  I have an answer for that one!  Johnny can only be a part of the event if he can make airfare to get from CA to PA and back since this would presumably be a free gig. This means that you, the fans can help out.

Johnny hopes to raise enough money through his Bandcamp page from fans purchasing and downloading his music to afford the trip. I know we can do this! If you haven’t already experienced Johnny J. Blair, you should at least stop by and give it a listen. Listening is free!

Additionally, please share this post with friends, fans and anyone else who may be interested in helping Johnny get to Beavertown. I feel that his appearance on the guest list would make a significant difference in funds raised at the event for The Davy Jones Equine Memorial Fund and The Beavertown Activities Fund.

All proceeds from purchases on the Bandcamp site go directly to Johnny.

Own the Davy Jones Beavertown Memorial Banner

A little over a year after the original March 2012 David Jones Beavertown Memorial, organizer Michael Shoenfelt has provided what may be one of the ultimate collectors items as a fund raising tool for the upcoming June 15, 2013 Beavertown Event.

For a short while, the banner signed by Sarah Jones-McFadden, Talia Jones-Roston, Jessica Jones-Kramer and Annabel Jones (David’s 4 daughters) as well as Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz, Michael Shoenfelt and Beavertown PA’s Mayor, Bill Wagner– will be up for auction on ebay.

Proceeds from this auction will benefit The Beavertown Activities Fund and The Davy Jones Equine Memorial Fund.

Three of these banners exist. Only the one up for auction is signed. The banner measures 2′ by 7′ and you can have a shot at owning it if you are the highest bidder!
